School's drawing to a close in 3 weeks - the last of my primary years and also the farewell to my BF Ashleigh.
Tell me what you think of this snippet from the letter I'll be giving her.
"I have had so much fun being your friend this year – laughing, chatting, playing, teasing and confiding in with you. I don't know if I realise just how lucky I am now, but I definitely will next year when my time with you will pretty much disappear, as we head for separate high schools. But I'm going to make sure that apart from making new friends and the mountains of homework I'll probably get – I'll always have time for a chat – whether it be long or short, early or late, phone or IM. I'll try my hardest to schedule stuff like plays and sleepovers with you, send you photos and letters, video and text mobile messages as well.
I'll probably cry missing you some days, especially the 1st year, when I will need you the most, but I'll get used to it. I'll learn to be more independent and free, make my own choices and build a strong life.
There's no explaining how lucky I feel, getting to be a part of your life. And trust me, you've already got me in a place I love – beside you, so there's no getting rid of me now. I'll always be around."
